Free money...gotta love it. So on Thursday nights (which happens to be markdown day) we go to Lowe's to see what is on clearance. We have been doing this for over two years. The employees started to get to know us and jokingly I told them this was the only way he would take me out so it is sort of like "date night". Now we get hi..how ya doing?? Date night again. It is kind of getting embarrasing. But I have to say it is fun to come out of there with a cart full of about $600 worth of merchandise for $34...yes we have done that on quite a few occasions. WOOHOO! That's a whopping 25% discount for items that I normally buy anyway. Little things make me happy too, and I'm happy that at 44, I'm still not jaded and still get excited about going out for an inexpensive asian meal or a relaxing browse through a health food store. I have never been to Whole Foods (there aren't any in Montreal, QC), and my plan to visit one is what excite's me the most about our next trip to a North Eastern city in the US.
