That video is great. Cheesy, but applicable.

Do people still give their kids allowances? We haven’t decided what we’re going to do yet, because our first is still a toddler.

wow! I was thinking I’ve seen all of these, how come not this one?? but it’s dated 1995—I was 5 years out of college by then!! I never had an allowance that was more than a $1, and i think that was only for 6 months when i was 12. I started working at the age of 15–no one paid me to do chores! Some very good lessons about budgeting (but oops, not on diet!)
