  • What’s For Dinner

    Made a simple dinner of whole wheat rotini pasta with leftover marinara sauce and a big green salad. Not every meal has to impress the Marthas and Julias of the world.
  • My Frugal Scores

    Have been picking at the leftovers in the fridge today, which helps to avoid food waste, and saves money. Lunch was two small pieces of leftover pizza that *someone* had picked the crust from as well as a microwaved piece of french toast.

    I thought we were done eating the huge pack of grapes my husband bought at Costco, but I see that a baggie of them came back from my son's school lunch. Let's see who I can get to eat that . . . .
