I liked this article and the additional comments. One commenter asked the question about frozen pipes…which I never saw answered. Instead of being referred to as No Heat, perhaps it could more appropriately be called Low Heat. I wouldn’t risk frozen pipes!

I agree. My “No Heat Challenge” ended on November 1st, and was a challenge to delay how long it took before turning your furnace on. It wasn’t about going without heating during the freezing temperatures of winter.
