  1. Yeah, that's what it'll buy you on your salary, but there are a whole lot of people who one hour of work will NOT pay for food for a week. Maybe a day, but $6 an hour won't go very far if you have multiple mouths to feed and rent to pay.

    I completely agree with you. My point was that the choices we on how we spend our money can either stretch and shrink that hour spent at work.

    I have certainly made $6 (and less) per hour and have figured out how to make it stretch. Of course, I didn't have a family at the time.
