Hi! I found this site through New York Times. I'm nowhere as handy or as frugal as you are, but I think it's great that you are trying to live more simply. Frugality seems to be the hot topic of the moment, but I don't know if it will stick...
A lot of news talk about a "culture shift" in terms of our expectations, values, and consumer choices, and I think our culture will shift in the short and medium term, but longer term? I don't know. What do you think?

Hi. The NYTimes featured your blog and your mindset being associated with the recession. I think your attitude to your life is wonderful and I show some respect to it. I don't know your current lifestyle was born from the economical recession or your philosophy. Your idea, method or philosophy, where are they from? What is the striking incident or event that changed and reconsidered your way of living?
