Finally, a Goodwill Gift Card Challenge Sale!

I made another $100 Goodwill Gift Card Challenge sale, which is pretty exciting since the last one was all the way back in August, which meant I didn’t even donate to the Oregon Food Bank in September or October.
Do you remember the $3.99 porcelain Limoges box that I thrifted back in April? I wrote about it in this blog post. (Not to be confused with the 85¢ Limoges box that I thrifted in September.) My initial ask was $75, but I saw that it had an eBay “watcher,” so I sent out a $50 offer.

They really are so pretty.
Although the Limoges box sold for $50, that amount comes down to $41.17 after eBay fees, which means the challenge total profits now add up to . . . $949.42, which is tantalizingly close to my $1000 goal!
So close I can taste it.

I still have a couple dollars left on the gift card, but have tapered off on thrifting lately. Maybe this is the kick in the pants that’ll get me back out there.
I still have the other 85¢ Limoges box. It’s not as ornate, but should sell eventually.

Now your turn, what frugal things have you been up to?
