Click here to watch a hilarious Saturday Night Live skit entitled, "Don't Buy Stuff."

It's all about a couple (Amy Poehler and Steve Martin) who can't figure out their finances, and are helped by a book/pamphlet titled, "Don't Buy Stuff You Cannot Afford."

Simple yet effective.

Click here for the hilarious  Funny or Die video "Un-Broke Seth Green Cribs Edition." The bit about how the "pool is straight filled with hose" makes me laugh every time.

Both videos inject a little humor into the theme of living within one's means. Enjoy!

  1. My favorite part was how he didn't really want to brag, but the couch folds out into a bed 8-). This is a Crib I can relate to.

  2. I absolutely love the Cribs video (the hose line = CLASSIC), and the SNL one had me giggling. "Seriously, don't buy stuff!" Awesome.

  3. Thanks for that- my husband and I both watched the SNL last night and he said "brilliant."

I have to admit- when he walks out there and they show that baby pool, I really cracked up. I was just telling my husband, "who cares what people think? I want a baby pool this year. then whenever I get really hot, I can soak in the water and read."

  4. boo hoo - Hulu only shows in America - I'm so spoiled getting all sorts of stuff over the net, this was a bit of a jolt.
