Whatever your family traditions happen to be, may your next few days be filled with friends, family, peace and unconditional love. Plus, food. Lots and lots of delicious food!

Also, no guilt trips. Eff that.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Katy & Family and NCA friends!
The cooking has begun – with a little wine of course. 🙂

Happy times to everyone, no matter what holidays you celebrate, or if you celebrate any at all! I have been cooking since Monday and just have to heat things tomorrow and make a salad. So I can sit back and enjoy, which I am ready for.

Thanks for the no guilt trips comment. I try to be frugal all year but it goes out the window at Christmas time. Our children come home so rarely because of distance. So we are happy to have them here and time is more important.

I do what I can before hand. But if I need something last minute, which I always do, I run to the closest store and pay full price and do not bat an eye.
