Fried Charger = No Blog Post
My Mac Book's charger is crisper than a Kentucky Fried Chicken, so I'm writing this blog post on my phone. I have lead on a used one through my local buy nothing group, but for now there's no real blog post for today.

I was able to get a free charger through my buy nothing group, so my laptop is up and running again. Whew . . .

When you talk about your "local buy nothing group" is that a group of people who have all signed onto The Compact, or is it something different?
It's a buy nothing group through Facebook that's specific to my neighborhood.
I'm not sure what was wrong with your charger but Apple has been replacing the old style Macbook chargers when the cable gets frayed at the strain relief (free replacement).
You can search for 'Apple Power Adapter Replacement Program.'
The program has officially ended but the Apple Store still replaced mine just a few months ago. Worth a shot if yours is the old style and frayed at the MagSafe side.
