Five Frugal Things -- Oops . . . All Library Book!

1) I started reading my library copy of Kate Quinn's The Astral library. I'm 80 pages in and very much enjoying the story, even though the adventurous part of the story only just started.
I'm guessing I'll be done by tomorrow.

2) I'm going to read my library book and distract myself from the stressors of the outside world.

I've been influenced. I'm also going to read a library book to distract myself from the stressors of the outside world.
Get it, girl!
Haha, I agree that's the thing to do!
I read The Astral Library not long ago. I'm reading The Measure now. There's a lot of philosophizing so it's a bit like work. The Astral Library, as I remember, had a good story, which I like.
It was a slog for me.
I’ve been listening to a library book, “Yesteryear”, to distract myself from the outside world. Ironically, I’m doing this while preserving food on a farm. Haha. I promise I’m not a trad wife!
I took a break from the book and listened to an interview that the NYT conducted with James Talarico. I feel hopeful about the world and want to vote for him. Alas, I am in the wrong state.
I read yesterday’s post just before lunch, and was inspired to get a chipotle kid meal, which I am happily eating while I ignore what is happening in the world.
The kid's meal is great!
