Four Frugal Things -- Can Buying Stuff be Frugal?

Normally my "frugal things" veer towards selling my thrifted finds, stretching a dollar or making do/upcycling something I already own. Today I'm sharing how I bought a few things. However, I did so in a (mostly) nonconsumer fashion.
1. I have a pair of thrifted Ralph Lauren "Chaps" pinwale corduroy pants that fit me better than any pants I've owned in recent memory. I've been wearing them for at least five years and they're now at death's door.
They're finally worn out, to the point that the fabric in the nether regions is thin enough to see through and tearing with the slightest of breezes. Please pause for a moment of silence.
I realized that I could use the "RN number" on the tag to source a new pair off eBay, so I grabbed them and got to work. I have a faint memory of trying this trick in the past without success, but this time I struck gold! A single pair in my exact style and size and the seller even had "make an offer" turned on. I am now $29.74 poorer, but am getting exactly what I want and supporting an independent seller! Woo-hoo!

2. I have a specific purse that I love, from the sadly defunct Queen Bee Creations shop here in Portland. It's cute, durable, the perfect size and I've owned three of them through the years. I think they cost around $175 new, but I've been able to find secondhand ones here and there.
The above listing showed up on Facebook Marketplace yesterday and I immediately messaged the seller, as I wanted to buy the two ones on the right in the "trucker" style. I've been carrying the wing one in black and burgundy for maybe five years and am excited to have a backup. I drove over this morning and am now two purses richer, one of which will be gifted to my sister.
3. My sister and her kids are coming for spring break, so I've been readying the house for their visit. You already read about how I thrifted a pair of comforters last week, but I began thinking about how our backup bed pillows are less than stellar. However, bed pillows are not something that I thrift.
I recently saw something about how some people can be "vegetarian except for bacon" and it stuck in my mind. I don't "buy anything new," except for mattresses, underwear, perishables, etc. You can read HERE about my exceptions.
I choose to not support that Scheff Schmezos guy, except for the occasional item here and there. Apparently bed pillows is on that list, because I ordered eight new pillows for our guest bedrooms. I used my sister's Prime account for free shipping and am not going to beat myself up too badly. This my is "vegetarian, except for bacon!"

4. My husband had the day off from work, so we ventured out of the house in search of some of Portland's world famous cuisine. (This is not a joke, Portland is lauded as a prime foodie destination!) I'd recently sent him an Instagram reel about a Mexican food cart on Killingsworth Avenue, which became our destination.
I have a general policy that I don't bother eating out if it's something I can easily make in my home kitchen. So . . . $3.50 al pastor tacos -- yes! $15 Sandwiches -- no! Especially when they have six freshly made sauces to choose from! Plus, do you see how our tacos came with an extra plate of onions, cucumber, lime wedges and a seared jalapeño pepper?
We definitely could've eaten at home for less, but it was worth the money to enjoy a delicious meal out with my husband.
Spending money, but in a deliberate and thoughtful manner.
Now your turn, what frugal things have you been up to?

I love that you found your favorite pants in a reseller fashion.
My mom's bestie changes her pillows and towels at all their vacation rentals yearly, she donates them to our cause. I use them for the furnished apartments that our family Foundation runs for kids who age out of foster care and need a safe place to land and figure next steps.
Today I picked up 2 upholstered club chairs, 1 dresser, one leather couch and one queen bed frame on FB market place for $0.
What an excellent cause! There is such a gap in care for children aging out of the system, it's so unfortunate and unfair to an already difficult start in life. I'm sure they greatly appreciate the donations!
I love your family foundation.
BGF, how wonderful that your family has a foundation for such a worthy cause. Bravo!
What a wonderful cause indeed <3
Ah yes, I buy my pillows new. I used to buy my kitchen utensils used until the meth epidemic and I, and an equally thrifty friend who works in law enforcement, gave up pots and pans used, as a general rule.
1. I walked an hour today broken up into two segments, before work and after work. I simply headed out the door so no driving to a walking trail.
2. Sadly, gas is now $3.74 a gallon at the cheapest station in the town where I work. So I topped off my fuel since it seems to be rising constantly.
3. Across the street from the gas station is the Piggly Wiggly so I stepped in to buy two jars of 30 fluid oz of my favorite mayo at $3.00 a piece. I remember when it was $2.00 a jar when not on sale… sniff, sniff. I bought a 2 Liter bottle of Piggly Wiggly brand Diet Coke for $1.27. Yes, I know WM sells their brand for $1.00 but I am not driving 40 miles round trip to Walmart. I also know I don’t need the soda physically… lol. I also picked up a package of lentils for $1.32. Not as cheap at Dollar Tree but it is 20 miles one way also.
4. I am trying to lower my house taxes so I made phone calls to the assessor’s office. Fingers crossed.
5. I ate deconstructed cabbage and chicken egg roll I made from leftovers for my evening meal and I took my breakfast and lunch sandwiches, along with an apple, to work. I shall sit out in my yard this evening and enjoy the birds. The weather is beautiful and I pay for this place so I am going to enjoy it.
I don’t think there’s much risk that a used pot will be a problem. First, I don’t think there’s a lot of small scale home meth labs anymore. Why make your own when you can buy a week’s supply for $5? Second, a meth pot is going to look like a meth pot.
There are mostly small scale labs where I prosecute. This is a very poor area. Considering the cleanup and equipment involved, this is what I, as a prosecutor, and my friend , as a LEO, chose to not buy used. We have seen the physical evidence in our area. You may be in an area where home manufacturing is not common.
True. Portland gets its meth from cartels. The good news is that our second hand cookware is likely to be safe. The bad news is that I
have seen people openly using at my local bus stop!
Unlike you, I have purchased and laundered and happily worn used underwear (no tags, but no signs of use) from thrift stores, lol. Bras and swimsuits too. I wash in hot water. Shrug.
Also, I need to sleep with a pillow under my hips or between my knees and the one I had bought, used, at an estate sale had flattened over the years of use. I found a very expensive, very firm and heavy and thick memory foam king size pillow for $4 at a thrift store and I love it so much. Granted, my head isnt on it, but it also looked unused so I got it.
1. Picked up a free 32 oz carton of chx broth, 1 lb of dry great northern beans, & aerosol cake frosting from a Nextdoor Neighbor ad.
2. Made pancakes using milk that had gone off.
3. My school has the cafeteria 7 blocks away at the main campus. I bring my lunch. It wastes my lunchtime to walk to the cafe & saves money to bring a lunch.
4. Found a quarter in the return coin slot of a vending machine at school.
5. My tree sapling and bush sapling that my BFF friend gave me are leafing out. She gave me a Vitex bush that will eventually have purple flowers and a baby pecan tree. Both seem to be thriving in their new home. I sent the husband to dig up a free cactus last fall. It now has baby cacti budding out. I've put it in the flower bed where it cannot attack humans w/ it's thorns.
Dana, I've a wonderful feather pillow bought from an estate sale. Laundered it and 8? years later, still my favorite
Those tacos look really good. Yum! I would have a hard time resisting all those wonderful food options.
1. I bought gas at the cheapest gas station on my route.
2. I sold an item on Facebook Marketplace. I bought it at one of those bin stores full of Amazon returns. I paid $3 and sold it for $10. Every little bit... Crap out, money in.
3. I sold two items on Ebay and packaged them in recycled boxes and packing material. The post office picked them up from my house.
4. I loaned my mom my Dryel supplies to clean her estate sale wool sweaters she purchased.
Ha! I’m the only person I know who dislikes bacon.
That said, I’m with you on the pillows!
Yes, it’s sometimes more frugal in the long run if you buy the pants you’ll love and wear until they fall apart.
I’ve been looking around for a replacement sweater for my mom, who has mild dementia. She accidentally put her favorite lambswool sweater (“hand wash, lay flat to dry”) through the washer and dryer. It is now the perfect size for a toddler. My mom is sad. She sent the sweater home with me so I can fix it. I’m no miracle worker, so I hope to find another on eBay.
Li, I haven't tried this but I have heard that you can restretch wool clothing by washing gently with some conditioner and gently stretching it out. Might be worth looking online and seeing if there's any hope for her sweater?
I might have to try that because I can’t find a replacement sweater anywhere!
This isn’t exactly the same but knitters “block” a sweater to keep it a certain size. Look up blocking for knitting. You might have success? its not exactly the same but soaking it in water with a wool soap then laying it on some cardboard, stretching it out to the size you want and pinning it till it driesmight help!! Good luck!
How very frustrating! No idea if this would work for her understanding-- I just read of a woman whose husband died and she didn't want to get rid of his sweaters. She finally felted them and made mittens.
So if the sweater can't be replaced or re-sized, perhaps use the material to make a neck scarf, a shoulder cape, or attach the pieces as fronts on a regular sweater.
Hi Li,
If you can't "fix" the sweater, maybe you can create something new from the felted wool. I've seen mittens @ craft fairs made from upcycled sweaters.
I hope you find another sweater that your Mom likes.
Great find on the cords! Just 3 today.
1. Our county transit system had a multi-week Winter Walk Photo Challenge where you submitted a photo fitting the week's theme & taken while outside. A weekly drawing was held for $20 Amazon gift certificates and I won one! It will get used.
2. During the heat wave in CA we bought a rotisserie chicken for dinner the night our granddaughter joined us after school. Dinner for 3, dinner for 2, chicken broth and chicken soup plus enough for a chef salad for 2 in the freezer.
3. Our dog was bleeding slightly from one of his back knees and he let us treat him. We started assuming it was a tick (it wasn't), cleaned with rubbing alcohol and then 3 attempts to get a gauze wrap to stay on before giving up and letting him lick it. No vet bill as it looks much better the day after.
Congrats on winning the $20 GC!
1. Filled up with the lowest price gas in town. $5.39 a gallon. I'm in Northern California.
2. Sold 2 things on FB marketplace today.
3. Had a telehealth appointment which has zero copay with my insurance. Not free because we pay insurance premiums, but nice there's no additional cost
4. Still eating leftovers. Glory hallelujah!
5. Gave 1/2 hour of service to someone in the time bank. I have a lot of hours in this 'bank'.
Surprised you couldn’t get the pillows from somewhere else- even supporting him “on occasion” is still supporting him.
I think Katy, as well as the followers of this site do our best to prioritize non consumerism and frugality. Judging people on the times that fall outside of that perfection is pretty self righteous I think.
Yeah, not to mention "he" makes most of his money from AWS, which runs so many websites, that you would have to be completely internet-free in order to not support him. Even in that case, companies still store your data with AWS, even if you don't ever use the internet. So, to echo Emily, everyone does the best they can. Very few people live totally off the grid and have zero impact.
My written comment was an observation, not a judgement. Just stated the facts
I put dinner in the crockpot before work today. That’s always a good day, when I don’t have to think about dinner after working all day.
I am the official birthday card giver at work. I didn’t realize that one of our coworker’s birthday was today until my other coworker texted me while I was at lunch. I went through my collection and grabbed some to keep in my desk. (Am I little sad that I have never received a card myself from my coworkers? Yes, but I’ll still keep bringing them in for everybody.)
I got paid from an eBay sale, so I added it to my savings account immediately.
I am not above anointing a coworker as birthday card usher when my turn rolls around, even if that includes providing the card myself. Fair's fair. You deserve a turn.
Katy,
I think it's wonderful you found your perfect pants on the eBay site!
There is nothing so frugal as just the right pants!
1. I took a walk this morning and picked up milk at the little free pantry. Just a quart, and it's not lactose-free, but I can always take the dairy pill.
2. I made hot chocolate from the last of the milk I already had. It made two mugs full and I drank them both.
3. I started feeling queasy later in the day. I don't know if it was the hot chocolate or if I am just a little off -- I do have a very sensitive gut. Anyway, I have just hung out at home and spent nothing.
4. I hand washed a scarf that I found a few days ago. It had been abandoned outside for a few days, so I rescued it. I will donate it after it dries. It's not my style.
5. A newspaper was apparently misdelivered to our building the other day. Nobody claimed it, so I took it in today. I'll find some uses for it. Who knows -- there might even be a coupon in there.
Thanks to your example I unpicked the logo off a free hat I got last year. It has a gorgeous bird on the front (a western tanager) but also had a logo for an unknown company on the back. I wore it rarely since I don’t like wearing logos. But last night I listened to a book and unpicked the embroidery so now I have a hat I actually want to wear. I don’t think I did nearly as nice a job as you would have, but good enough. Thanks for the inspiration!
1. I bought my little guy a second hand sleepsack off of Poshmark . We need a second one in the size he’s in.
2. Toddler and I went to Whole Foods yesterday morning to find some “deals”. He hilariously yells “deals” anytime I say we are going to the store. Deals we did find! Got an organic rotisserie chicken, organic whole raw chicken, 3 organic yogurt pouches, organic spring mix, and mini chocolate chip muffins all 50% of , which combined with a few other things (that were shockingly cheaper than at king Soopers), rang up to be 28 dollars. We also got to see the fish which is free entertainment for my toddler. We have already gotten 2 meals from rotisserie chicken and will freeze the carcass for broth.
3. Gas was up to 4.50 today . My husband drove my 14 year old Jetta to utilize its awesome gas mileage. My toddler and I stayed home.
4. Toddler, fur child and I enjoyed 4 hours outside in our small but in progress backyard today. Checked on my milk jug seedlings and threw more leaves in the raised bed. I am keeping track and trying to hit 1,000 hours outside this year with my little one. Our unseasonably warm winter in CO has us way ahead of schedule.
5. Scheduled a pickup for my usps shipments/poshmark sales so I don’t have to use my own gas.
I don't blame you on thrifted underpants.... ugggghhh no! I did accept some nowt drawers from a friend who was purging her closet. I pass along undies when my son out grows them but I don't know if they get used.
I did hear one time that it is a good idea to donate kid's underwear to gw.
Secondhand upholstered items and cushions go in the freezer to kill any potential cooties. I did this once for an dining room chair. I froze the seat cushion prior to installing new fabric. I recently froze a nwot gw boonie hat, just in case! 🙂
No used mattresses or pillows for me!
I’ve accepted “tried on but unused” underwear from friends , as well as training underwear for my toddler when we start potty training. I have also picked up training underwear for toddler at the bins that are in good condition and essentially boil them just in case.
What is a boonie hat? I haven't heard that term.
It's very wise of you to freeze your used cushions. I've done this, too.
I just bought my husband the exact same pair of jeans he already has, but they're wearing out. Ebay's better than Goodwill for specific things like that. Glad you found the pair you wanted!
1. Got free ice-cream at Dairy Queen
2. Bought a dress at Goodwill for $7
3. Had a family movie night at home
4. Cooking at home
5. Promoting most of my ebay items, and my sales have gone way up since last month, when I turned promotions off
longer version here: https://practicalwalk.com/2026/03/25/frugal-five-one-is-ice-cream/
I volunteer at my county library once a week, and use the time out for errands after I finish at the library. This morning everyone in my condo building had to move cars because our building is being painted, so I left earlier than usual and went to my car wash for the auto wash and then used the vacuum, the air, etc. I can’t wash my car because I have extremely painful arthritis in both shoulders, and drive an SUV, which is too tall for me to reach, and at almost 70, ladders are not my friend. After the library, I stopped at my sisters house to return her sander, which I had borrowed. I also gave her 10 eggs from my Sam’s Club purchase of 18. We share bulk purchases. My car was down to 1/4 tank of fuel, so I stopped at my Circle K station, used my Circle K card and my pin, which reduced the price by 13 cents per gallon. Still cost $37, but I budget $40/month for fuel, so it worked. Then I went to WalMart and did my short grocery shopping, sticking to my list. I had just gotten in a rather long cashier line when I noticed a lane opening 2 registers down, so I didn’t waste any time going over and was out in 5 minutes, and went home, fixed 2 soft tacos with beef, lettuce, and sour cream for dinner, and fed my cat, Chloe. Then we just relaxed for the rest of the day, because I was feeling my age!
Nice work tracking down the pants you love on eBay. I have a favorite pair of workout pants so old that they stopped making them close to a decade ago. I should have bought them all up on eBay, but now even resellers don't have them. And, of course, workout pants eventually give up the ghost, especially in the nether regions. I have two (of four) about to have a hole & I'm so afraid I'll be in a workout class one day & flashing folks. and, worse, I have to find a replacement - I'm so picky with workout pants. They have to be suitable for running & not slide down your waist when you run. Plus comfortable. Slim pickings out there.
1) Used a piece of the zucchini casserole from Monday's dinner, and added an egg & made sort of an "omelette" yesterday & served that on a piece of bread that needed to be used up. That was lunch.
2) As part of my "use it up" freezer plans, baked up four individual chicken pieces for dinner last night, as we had no real plans. (We have a big green salad with every meal). The extra was for DS20 after work, who paired that with some pasta leftovers.
3) Narrowed down my packing so I don't have to check a bag (always frugal)
4) Made sure I added snacks & my own electrolytes (for hiking), saving on what i'll need to buy. Also, if we are driving during a meal time, I have a few easy snacks that can sub in as a meal.
5) Helped DS19 with a summer job search.
Katy, the RN number is how I found three pairs of the perfect Liz Claiborne cotton chinos on eBay after buying the first pair at Goodwill. I am now ruined for other slacks because these fit so well.
Anything used I can't launder goes into the freezer for 48 hours, including books. I buy new underwear, pajamas, and bedding, but everything else is fair game. I have bought secondhand Revere ware pots off eBay in the past but have no need in the foreseeable future for more cookware.
I did buy a straw hat at Goodwill that could not fit in the freezer, but it still had the original tag hanger inside and looked unworn. I rinsed it thoroughly, sprayed the inside with rubbing alcohol, then reshaped it and let is dry in the sun on an 87 degree day.
Would you please share the process (if its not too long) how to find things on Ebay with an RN number.. and where do you find this # on your original piece of clothing? Thank you!
If you look on the care tag, which usually is in a side seam and tells you how to launder the garment, there's often a smaller tag under it with the letters RN plus some numbers. So you do an internet search for that number and further narrow down the search by the maker of the item and even where it was manufactured. For my favorite slacks, it was the RN number, Liz Claiborne, chinos, made in Bahrain. You can even search for the fabric content, such as 98% cotton. It takes some hunting, but usually the right thing is out there on secondhand markets.
Thank you, Ruby!
Thanks Ruby!
This post reminds me that being frugal helps you be able to afford what you really value.
1. My not frugal, but worth it to me,was purchasing Tom Papa tickets. He's so funny! So my husband and I will have a nice dinner out and enjoy the show. A quality experience and no waste of resources, and nothing going to the landfill.
2. My sister gifted me two large pots of tulips. Free to me, and of course they should come back up every year. Plus they are beautiful.
3. A few months ago I broke the handle on my favorite hand thrown clay mug. My husband repaired it instead of my purchasing another mug. The handle broke off again this morning. Hubby says he'll repair it again. I have my eyes peeled for a replacement but no luck yet. This mug is just perfect in every way. It will be hard to say goodbye.
4. All the usual everyday frugals. Packing my lunch, reading library books, free yoga, and long walks outdoors.
So true about using resources for what you value. Have just spent a small fortune (for me) for YoYo Ma tickets but will be an everlasting joyful memory!
Linda, YoYo Ma would be a real treat! I hope you have the best time. Tickets to concerts and events are skyhigh these days and the "convenience" fees they add to the orders are ridiculous, but let me you said a great memory or experience.
Johanna, is the mug usable without a handle? Or too hot to hold when filled with hot drink and cooler drink just doesn’t work for you?
Kathy,
Thanks for the idea. There are two jagged pieces where my husband can glue the handle back in place, but if it snaps again, I could ask home to grind the handle off completely and see how I like it. Sometimes I a sucker for the imperfect. Like taped glasses.
Sometimes you need to get out and do something different and fun. It's also important to enjoy life!
Yesterday I had a friend come over and do some yardwork and handyman work. I got some much needed chores finished.
Meanwhile, I am laughing to myself over the large number of advertisements and news stories saying that various stores are lowering prices, trying to lure back customers. Apparently more and more people are becoming NON-consumers!! Katy, you've started a trend! Lol!
I like that you're replacing long lasting quality items with their exact replica. I came along a piece of information that a lot of people want less decisions so they find redundancy, such as a minimalist wardrobe to require less space for thinking, so they have more time and space for other things. Perhaps buying the same things on repeat long term is giving you time and mental space for other things.
I have looked up items I loved when I was younger on second hand sites and had some great success, of course with how many clothes I currently own I have declined to buy more at this time. But there are a few outfits I would love to recreate 😉
Frugals...
1. I had an optional biomedical screening today and not only were my numbers good I received a $50 Amazon gift card as an incentive. I'll take it!
2. I was able to cash out $15 on the Receipt Hog app. I have been doing this receipt scanning for several years and that is one of the slowest moving apps to get cash/giftcards.
3. I looked in the fridge last night and cobbled together meals for myself, my son and significant other. It was eclectic, we all ate, and the sun set and rose and we're still here.
4. I went to Costco to get gas. It was still very expensive, but about 10-20 cents cheaper than other gas stations.
5. I have been so busy that we have neglected to do laundry for a few weeks. I am curious to see my water bill this month. We now have electric meters. But I was told they didn't work so the water company just gives you an average. I wish I could better test my real usage.
Years ago I found a like new 4 cup Pyrex glass measuring cup in my recycle bin. Yes, the thought of meth crossed my mind but I poured boiling water in it, scrubbed it really well and ran it through the dishwasher twice. I use it all the time.
1. Started back to PT to address some knee and back issues. Cheaper than surgery and less harsh on my aging body. Great results so far
2. My PT is near two of my fav grocery stores for markdown. I hit one today after PT. For $8.50 I got 4 boxes of pasta, 3 bananas, 3 tomatoes, a bag if salad mix, a small bag of bacon bits, 2 can of veggies.
3. My large hydroflask dosent fit in the cup holder of my car. My small one does (all were bought at a yard sale) but when it’s warming need more water! Stopped after PT at the Goodwill and a Thermoflask (red!) for $3. It holds twice the amount of water for $3!
4. PT wants me to,use a small (like a ki kick ball) at home for my exercises. This is the main reason I stopped at Goodwill. Found one for $1.99. It’s a bit squishy so I’ll ask them to lump it up at PT on Friday.
5. My PT ran late so I didn’t have time to make my planned dinner. I ate leftovers but fed my daughter a frozen meal. I got the frozen meals for 4/$14, on sale plus 400 grocery points which gets me a free ham!
1. A friend and I went to musical bingo at the library last night. We did not win but had lots of fun and had some snacks. I am on a diet so I brought 2 of my snacks home and only ate one. They also gave everyone a bottle of water that I took home since I brought my reusable water bottle. I am passing the other 2 snacks on to my husband and son. My friend made brownies and gave me 1/2 of them as a thank you for driving. I took them to work with me. I always drive because she is a widow and I like to make sure she gets home OK.
2. My husband made chicken parmigiana and pasta while I was at the library. I had a small piece when I got home and took some for lunch today. There is still enough for lunch tomorrow.
3 I garbage picked a clothes rack. I work in a very nice area and they put out the best garbage.
4. A different friend is decluttering and gave me a bag of stuff that I will use.
5. I didn't want to cook but also didn't want to spend money on take out. So I made BLTs. I had everything at home and it is easy to do. I saved the bacon fat. Bonus points...Hubby washed the dishes.
.
And you spent small business local for the food - always a frugal win in my book.
I am soo with you on this post! I believe in buying PANTS that feel good.As I have gotten older, the waist hip, tummy thing sure do make thrifting pants hard.I will pay a little to buy some jeans that fit. You made a stellar purchase and it will last!! I wear my clothes for-EVER too..so..
THAT SAID: I have found some Jag jeans, and Nine West jeans, that fit me really well at our local consignment store and have been wearing them for maybe 5 years!! A friend on my block also lost a lot of weight and gave me some jeans that fit me pretty good! YAY! I live in Costco SKORTS all summer. It’s Arizona,It is hot. They are around 10 dollars a pair and every summer they come out with a slightly new “style” but this year, all my old skorts are in great shape, I need no clothing!!!!!
FOOD: $3.50 tacos for a date night.SCORE! I’m also with you on this: I like my own home cooking pretty much.If I can make it at home not gonna spend $15 for.. a sandwich???????? We need our date nights. ENJOY!
AND,because things are.. well, iffy, (or EFFING NUTS whatever way you want to look at it!!!!!) in our country right now..I am stocking up a bit on groceries, pantry items, house hold stuff.. my Covid supplies are just about used up..I think inflation is a ‘comin’ so, the money I spend today on canned goods, coffee, pasta, rice, beans, peanutbutter, means I don’t have to pay inflated prices tomorrow..(to a point..I only have so much storage room and don’t want to be a hoarder..) ..a well stocked pantry is a nice feeling. Just being proactive.
Being retired means I don’t commute.Gas is not a big issue for us,thankfully. But I still group my errands.
I continue to cook, do my own cleaning, have fun with neighbors on the block in our houses, on our patios, playing cards, laughing, relaxing, being healthy together!!!!
SIMPLE PLEASURES go a looooooong way!
Simple pleasures are the best! And one of those pleasures is a well-stocked pantry.
I have two pairs of shorts from ebay on their way to me right now! When I unpacked summer clothes, I realized I only had two pairs of shorts. I looked at the label and did the same thing Katy and others mention here. They cost me about $15/pr with shipping, but I got exactly what I wanted and gave a real person money.
