I made beer bread, pumpkin butter, 3 bean chilli, & homemade pizza today since it is cold, wet, and gray out. Kept the kitchen warm and inviting as I read between tasks and that means I have some tasty leftovers for work lunches this week.
My landlady, who misspells her name "Katie," just came home from a pie party, and brought me a nice hunk of her artichoke pie. It ain't no REAL KATY apple pie, but it'll do for the time being.
just enough...this post made me smile. A great reminder to find pleasure in the simple, ordinary events of our lives. Thanks for sharing.

I mae shepherd's pie today......a great way to use up the bits and pieces lurking in the fridge. (smile)
