In The Mood To Watch a Free Movie?

Redbox is starting their 12 Days of Deals promotion today. All you need to do is text the word NICE to 727272, and they’ll text you a DVD movie code to use at their kiosk. (The codes also work to reserve movies online.) I just tried it out in the name of Beta testing the deal for you and the reply code was almost immediate.

And don’t forget that the buy-one-get-one-free codes work for a single free movie if you reserve the movie through their website.

Enjoy! And remember, it’s not free if you don’t return it on time.

Update: I am hearing that the codes are for different discounts. However, you can text NICE to 727272 every day for a few code.

Thank you for the code. However, when I texted NICE to the number up above it did not tell me that I could rent a free DVD. My text said I could enter a code for a $1 off 2 rentals. Interesting.

That works the same as a free movie code if you reserve it online.

And make sure if you do reserve it on the computer to pick it up the same day– I thought I had 24 hours to pick up but that lead to me getting a late fee! Fees aren’t frugal!

(Still, even if you rent 2 for $1.50, that’s pretty frugal fun, yeah?)

The movie “Escape” is actually pretty good. Saw it this past week. Thought it would be cheesy but it was edge of your seat good. I also thought the “Vacation” movie was funnier than the reviews gave it credit for. However, nothing can top the National Lampoons movies to me . I still am in love with all those, especially the Christmas one.
