Yesterday was the first day of school for Portland students, which for us mothers meant an entire day, (sunny, no less!) to frolic amongst the wildflowers while spinning in circles singing along to Joni Mitchell songs.
Or . . .
It meant a day to take a fire hose to the house and run errands.
Guess which one I did?
I guess tomorrow will have to be my day for spinning in circles while listening to Joni Mitchell. Now, does anyone know where can I find a field of wildflowers?

Katy, please describe this store for me. Don’t have this in my area. Have read you mentioning the products you use from here, though.
Bob’s Red Mill sells grain products, bulk food, as well as beans, etc. Their store also has a restaurant and misc kitchen items. It’s super awesome and I love very muchly.

I do remember those days.) Cleaning was always the first thing I did too, followed closely by a trip to the second-hand clothing store to dig to my heart’s content 🙂
