Have You Entered to Win Your Copy of Deepak Choprah’s “Leela” Yet?

Click HERE to enter to win a copy of Deepak Choprah’s “Leela” video game. The instructions seem complicated, but all you have to do is write something in the comments section about what you do to de-stress.

And while you’re clicking around, you can check out all the cool eco-friendly stuff I bought at Home Depot.

Is it a worldwide give away or just the US?

Katy — I’m a long-time reader and fan. But I’m starting to feel a bit… pestered, and “marketed to.” I think this promotion (Chopra/Leela), and probably your recent product reviews, aren’t what I’m looking for from the Non-Consumer Advocate. Is it just me? Maybe the time has come for me (not you) to take a break…

Sorry about that. I would rather not have the reviews so close, but it just ended up this way. I’m trying to put money aside for my kids’ Japan trips.

This might seem strange, but the most relaxing and stress reducing thing I do is to scrub my shower/tub. It has always been my way to take out my frustrations w/o taking it out on the person who has frustrated me 😉

There is something very calming about scrubbing a tub or shower until it sparkles and looks brand new. I work out any frustration by scrubbing harder than I need to and by the time I am done the clean shower is a thing of beauty to look at..lol. I just feel calm and ready to handle anything that comes my way.

My poor husband says he can tell the difference between my just cleaning the shower and my scrubbing my frustration away..lol He always takes a moment to see which style of cleaning I am doing.

Luckily for him and the rest of my family, I don’t get frustrated or angry very often, and when I do, I try my best to take it to, and leave it at, the tub.

What I do to de-stress is read blogs about how other people de-stress.

Often time I like to just bake some cookies or banana bread and share with family and friends. Makes me happy to see other people happy.
