Rainy Day + Craigslist = The Perfect Afternoon!

Portland, Oregon is known for its rainy weather, and today is no exception. Luckily, there’s still lots to do in an indoor environment. For example:

List unwanted items on Craigslist!

Which is what I’m doing today.

So if you’re in the market for a Longaberger basket or some Hanna Andersson pajamas, you’re in luck. Me? I’m just looking for an excuse to sit at home and drink tea. And if I happen to make some money while decluttering the house, all the better.

You make decluttering sound so cool that the person buying your stuff would feel like a fool. I love decluttering too. But in India Yard sale or garage sale isint popular so except for furtinute or appliances, it is difficult to sell smaller items. but i still love to declutter. i am addicted to it!

I have not had good luck selling on Craigslist – even when the price is great. I suspect that some categories of items are more difficult than others. Of course, FREE, gets huge response.

Good luck in selling your items!

Hey, I just wanted to share that I sold the basket after work today. The buyer was SUPER excited to buy the basket for $20, and I was happy to sell my $3 Goodwill basket for $20.

Win-win situation!
