Relieved that I worked all weekend and will get a full paycheck.
Wishing I were the kind of blogger who scheduled her posts, so her blog wouldn’t sit dormant just because she worked all weekend.
Happy that I get to blog spontaneously, instead of sticking with a rigorous schedule.
Cold. It’s crazy nippy outside.
Proud of my son’s soccer team, who won their division in a citywide tournament.
Wondering if it’s too soon in the week to start eating pie.
Looking forward to a week of letting the kids sleep in.
Enjoying the comfort of a free hand-me-down armchair.
Wondering what I’ll write tomorrow, which is par for the course.

Firstly, I’m SO glad you got your hours in!! The nurses here keep getting cut too 🙁
And it’s never too early for pie!!
It is NEVER too soon to eat pie. Not good pie, anyway.
I second this, especially for breakfast.
Just wondering…are there fewer babies being born…is that why your hours are cut?
I do plan my blog posts, but I generally only write them the night before! 🙂 I’ve never managed to get ahead on a consistent basis.
Love this post….also love that you DON’T have scheduled postings…it is nice to know you “have a life” outside of blogging. LOL
I agree with the others–it’s never too soon to eat pie!
I gather the chair rehab was successful, then? And yippee for successful chair rehab!
Blogging is like that, isn’t it? Pies are for eating, arent’ they?
“Wondering if it’s too soon in the week to start eating pie.”
Nope. Enjoy!
I agree with Ann. I like that your blog revolves around your life and not the other way around. It’s a little like we’re neighbours. More often than not you’re there to chit chat over the fence with but sometimes life and work has to come first. Not to worry. It keeps it real. We like that 🙂
Get yourself some pie! Glad you got your hours in, Katie. 🙂
I’m happy I’m not the only one who can’t seem to get the swing of scheduled posts. I have a hand full of drafts to work on if I’m feeling uninspired, but nothing that I can just click and go.
Things to aspire to, or not.
Yay for short weeks!
Pie. It’s what’s for dinner!
