- Visiting with my sister and her kids, who are visiting from New York City for three weeks.
- Taking the kids to go swimming, since my older son has to be there anyway for lifeguarding.
- Taking the bus downtown so my sister can get her haircut at Barber-Q, where the skills are high and the price is low. ($12)
- Gonna hit up a Goodwill or two.
- Off of work all week until Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Planning arts and crafts projects.
- Excited to hang out with someone who shares my exact same interests!

Enjoying a break from the humidity.
Recouping from Vacation Bible School last week combined with a Saturday of laying wood flooring.
Still sore from said flooring.

Going to rite aid to extreme coupon…..in moderation. I love it when you get paid for buying something you need!

Enjoying watching my niece on the local talk show. She designed Hickman hiders.

Applying for a new job,pretty much same kind of pay, but I think benefits,which we need so much
Grocery shopped for the essentials, like dog food.
Going to deadhead my flowers, water my veggies, and divide up some Lamium plants for a neighbor. The weather is perfect, overcast and 65 degrees
today I spent the day at the Museum of natural History with my 7 and 5 year old with free ticket from a family member, whom works at said Museum, included all the extras!
Today I ….
– worked
– had greens from my garden for lunch and dinner
– organized my day so I could pick up my husband from work
– spent the evening at an agility class with my dog
– am mentally planning my upcoming stay-cation, a highlight of my summer!
Sisters are the best!
Today I am finishing up all undone craft projects before starting new ones! My basket is overflowing.

You sound so wonderfully happy! I’m glad your sister & family are visiting you from so far away, and that you’re all having fun together.
I have a niece who lives 700 miles away, and she’s the only person in the world who share my interests (and I, hers). I thought of her immediately when I started reading this post, and now I’m missing her more than I can say. I’ll have to plan a trip back there for next year.
