Today is day sixteen of the June Food Stamp Challenge, and today is a wacky, crazy day here at Casa Wolk-Stanley. As a result, I’m taking a day off from writing.
See you tomorrow!

Need to update on JFSC. I carried over from first week $22 giving me $97 for week 2 (wk of 6/7). That week spending was ($26 @ Kroger) for milk, nesquick, qt yogurt, butter, bagels, 2 pop tarts (kids out of school contributed to menu including:) 2 noodles & sauce. Farmers market, $10 for fresh peas, 2 bell peppers, 2 green tomatoes. 2nd trip to Farmer’s Market 2 huge cabbage and maybe a little baked good 😉 $4.75. Also was $29 variety of out to eat treats for kids. Leaving me approximately $27 for donation to food bank. I must say that until I typed this, I didn’t realize and I’m ashamed to note that I blew more $ on junk/treats than I am donating. Thankfully, the wasted money stopped there and I’m golden this week. Updates on that another day.
