This giveaway has ended. Congratulations to Mary and Janie, whose names were randomly chosen to win copies of “Tropical World.”
I’m hardly an early adopter of trends. (I’m still rocking my others-would-consider-it-obsolete iPhone4!) But even I, Katy Wolk-Stanley, the generally clueless had become aware that coloring books for adults had become a thing.
A big thing.
And no, I don’t mean, ahem . . . adult theme coloring books, although that would be kind of funny. I mean very elaborate and detailed coloring books that feature not a single Disney Princess nor Marvel comics character. So when Lark Crafts reached out to me asking if I’d like to do a review and giveaway of Millie Marotta’s Tropical World: A Coloring Book Adventure, I said yes. (That was after polling Non-Consumer Advocate Facebook group members, who by the hundreds cried “Yes, please! Now!”)
Apparently, the coloring book trend is about mindfulness, which is a concept I can totally get behind. That is, if I could get myself to focus on one thing at a time. Then yes, I can could behind that mindfulness thing.
The book itself is absolutely gorgeous, with page after page of mesmerizing flora and fauna. And like all Lark Craft books, the book quality itself is impressive.
To enter to win, just write your name in the comments section below. I will randomly choose two winners on Saturday, September 26th at 9 P.M. PST. One entry per person, please.
Best of luck from the generally mindless Katy Wolk-Stanley!
